A cozy and upscale boutique-hotel at a two minute stroll from Plaza del Chorro de Quevedo in the heart of the “La Candelaria” district, the historical center of Bogotá, dating back to colonial times.

The four-suite hotel is located on one of the oldest cobblestone alleys and at some points during the walk up to the hotel, a glance of the sky reflects the Eastern Andes encompassing the city of Bogotá.

These occasional glimpses are largely dwarfed by the views from the glass top floor of the hotel. The top floor offers a 360 degree picture of the city and the 3500 meter high contours of the Andes to the East. One can enjoy a magnanimous view indeed.

The surroundings of the hotel betray the looks of 'old' Spain and inner cities of Western Europe in general. Bohemia, culture, books and art. Plaza de la Concordia has a covered fruit, meat and produce market, surrounding streets are choked with coffee houses, boutiques and small restaurants. The hotel manager (Mr. Massimo Gaudenzio) is a throughly charismatic Italian that adopted the area years ago and chose to settle in the midsts of this cultural melting pot. No better source of information on the Candelaria to be found as Massimo, always at the ready to help out.

The hotel's ground floor encompasses a charming, well frequented, by locals and visitors alike, intellectual and artistical hotspot. Serving affordable wines and spirited conversation, life starts at the doorsteps! The recycled glass US embassy entrance door blends the street's folklore and the intimacy of the hotel's inners.

The hotel has a wedding suite with bath, and three more suits of which the top floor duplex one dazzles guests with the view through the glass ceiling and a fireplace for cool nights.

• Granadillo suite: a ninety square meters ample suite, comprising kitchen area, bathroom with glass roof, big terrace with wood and glass floor and a huge couch-bed facing an over dimensioned fireplace. A three-hundred and sixty degree spectacular view from the suite's terrace tops it all.(maximum 4 persons)
