With its beautiful colonial architecture it's a place where you can feel how the families of the nineteenth century used to live. Everything is adapted to a contemporary ambience; wood floors, stained glass windows, a central water fountain, a solarium with satellite television and a DVD player, a computer room complete with WI-FI service, a sauna, Jacuzzi. Hostal Fatima is a little taste of luxury in Bogota, and with all the extras thrown in, you might find it hard to leave! | | Directions | Hostal Fátima is located in the La Candelaria neighborhood in the historical center, the house is one block away of the Chorro de Quevedo, place where the city was founded. At a walking distance are the oldest streets and houses of the city and some of the most representative symbols of the city as Plaza de Bolivar, the Gold Museum, Casa del Florero, Army Museum, Luis Angel Arango library, Camerín del Carmen, Santa Clara Church, Nariño´s House and the Collection donated by Fernando Botero at the Casa de la Moneda. The Candelaria District is also a Universities place that has a long variety of restaurants, theaters, coffee shops and bars for everyones taste.(C ZONE) | | Transportation | Something important to know when you arrive to Bogotá is that at the terminal and Airport you can find a window of the taxis services where they give you a ticket with the fare when you say where are you going to. Explain there that the Hostel is in the - Candelaria centro - neighborhood. Remember, the address is Calle 14 No. 2-24 (14th street number 2-24) and that in Bogotá streets are numbered higher from south to north in the North part and from north to south in the South, The carreras also most of the Avenues grow in number from east (the mountains) to west. To get to Hostal Fatima by bus or buseta you take the one that says Germania on the sign and get down at 19th street with carrera tercera.
