What makes the hostel unique is that each room is hand-painted with a marvellous ceiling and wall mural by Michaela Steinhauser,. There’s the room which has the deep, swirling Tsunami; another room which features the scorching desert of Dalil; a third room which offers a view of the mysterious and relaxing Calypso island; or the room that depicts the holy, powerful mountain of Olympus and its gods and goddesses. The other rooms offer a delightful portrayal of nature, such as the bright field of Girasoles, a wonderfully captured Sunset, the butterfly and geisha Papillon room, and the glowing Vanilla Sky.

Consists of four buildings.
One has the reception area with confortable living room with a library, table games, a pool table in the center, tv and dvd , a kitchen for the use of everyone, tables w/ chairs, 2 computers with Internet Access (slow connection), WIFI within that area. Two cabins hold 6 rooms on the ground floor for 3 people each (a bunk bed queen size at the bottom and single on the top), and 6 rooms for 4 people each (2 bunk beds). Three Dorms at the back , for 6 people each.

A day in hostel: After one night of rest and peace in the silence, you can have a breakfast outdoors or in the dining room, you can appreciate the views of the falls, montains or the Tungurahua volcano. The pure air of the mountain and the tranquillity it is a good beginning for their next excursion. On your return you will enjoy the living room, the library, table games, Tv,, Dvd movies, Internet, WIFI, Hammocks

From the bus station, take the Pedro V.Maldonado street, walk two blocks to Ambato street turn left and walk church direction, once there walk two blocks straight and turn left when you get to Ricardo Zurita street (Barrio Los Pinos) follow the grafitis and murals of backpackers, the hostel will be at 100mts at your right.
