The hostel is situated on a quiet street in one of the nicest and safest neighborhoods of Lima – Miraflores – just a few blocks away from the ocean, paragliding and surf spots, as well as local food markets, cheap laundry service, and ancient Huaca Pucllana ruins. The area is very green, with more than six parks (including a skate one) around. A 15 minute walk will bring you to Kennedy Park, the heart of Miraflores. Some more upscale restaurants and bars are a short cab ride away. For sport fans there's also a gym right next door (first visit is for free). | | Directions | The safest way to get to hostel is by a trustworthy taxi we order for you in advance.
From Jorge Chavez Airport:
1. Head southeast on Elmer Faucett (5.8 km)
2. Slight left toward La Marina (350 m)
3. Continue straight onto La Marina (4.4 km)
4. Continue onto Pershing (1.1 km)
5. Turn right at Salaverry (1.2 km)
6. Turn left at Del Ejército/Perez Aranibar (1.6 km)
7. Turn right at Del Ejercito (10 m)
8. Sharp left toward 8 De Octubre (64 m)
9. Turn right at 8 De Octubre (400 m)
10. Slight right at Francisco Alayza Y Paz Soldan (240 m)
11. Continue onto General Córdova and continue until you reach the destination.
If you still prefer taking a bus:
There is a direct one from the airport which takes around 1.5 hours (depending on traffic) and costs S/2. Upon exiting the airport´s glass doors, turn right and walk all the way along the façade of the building. The sidewalk curves to the left and the exit gate becomes visible. Walk through the gate and turn immediately to the right, passing under a pedestrian bridge. Just a few more steps and you´re at the bus stop “Aduanas” located on Avenida Faucet. From there, take a Line S ´micro´ which goes to
Miraflores, via Av. Faucet, then Av. La Marina, San Miguel and Av. El Ejército. When you get to Av. El Ejercito get off at ´cuadra´ (block) 7-8 and follow calle José Toriblo Polo (opposite direction from the ocean). Three blocks and you are at General Córdova. There are four dorms with 6 or 8 beds and two doubles en suite to choose from. All the rooms are very spacious and airy. Bed linen is provided for free.
