Our hostel is conveniently located in the district of Miraflores, the tourist heart of Lima, where you can find everything - Parks, beaches, restaurants, coffee shops, bars, clubs, movie theaters, paragliding, travel agencies, airlines offices, banks, department stores, super markets, money exchange, etc. At the same time we are a short 3 block walk from the coast and beautiful cliff top parks. | | Directions | Expect to pay between 8 and 10 Soles (about US$3.00) in a taxi from most bus stations in Lima. Always agree on the price beforehand and always negotiate. Keep in mind that some taxi drivers will try to rip you off because you’re tourists. If someone offers a ridiculous price, just wave them along and wait for another taxi.
Tell your driver to take you along Av. Santa Cruz until cuadra (“block”) 14 -15. Have the taxi drop you off at the corner of Santa Cruz and Av. 2 de Mayo. There will be a church on your right side. Turn right onto Av. General Mendiburu (becomes 2 de Mayo), and our house is just a few houses down across from the church.
If you are coming from the airport, our certified taxi drivers will pick you up with 12 hours notice prior to your arrival. |
